At 75, Roger Nuhn of Glasford is a relative newlywed. When he and Bonnie married five years ago, he joined a close-knit family that all rallied around him when he started treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia in the winter of 2014. Presented with the opportunity to participate in a clinical trial, Roger decided, “What have I got to lose?” The answer: Nothing. FAQ
  • What kind of golf will be at Golfin’ in the Wild?
    Golfin’ in the wild is a 9-hole scramble golf, where you will use only one club of your choosing. You are welcome to bring your own club or use one that is provided. Holes range from 70-130 yards.
  • What is a scramble?
    A golf scramble is when after each player plays their shot, the team members play from the location of the best hit ball.
  • What’s the course like?
    We are in the wild terrain of Wildlife Prairie Park so the course isn’t your typical smooth and well manicured course. The tall grasses that surround the course will make the game even more fun!
  • How should I dress?
    Dress is casual and you should plan to wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking.
  • Will it be any fun?
    YES! Not only will you be golfing in a unique golf terrain, but you will get to enjoy cold drinks, tasty food and fun games on the course! We might just ask you to think of the craziest shot you can or even beat the pro (and if you don’t – you get to use his ball!)
